Presentation by Dr. Cristina Martín-Álvarez at “An adventure with woman scientists at UCLM”
Since 2015, every 11th of February has been celebrated as the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
This day is an opportunity to recognize the important role that women play in science and to inspire young girls to explore careers in this field.
In commemoration of this day, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the UCLM organised an event on 8th of February 2023, An adventure with women scientists at the UCLM, with a program of activities designed to encourage the participation of women and girls in science and technology.
Dr Cristina Martín-Álvarez presented on this day her presentation entitled Chemistry in our daily live to a young audience who will hopefully become the new generation scientists in the future.
